This classic burlap wreath has a multitude of uses. It can be used indoors as well as outdoors!
If you are looking for a seasonal wreath for your front door, you’ve found it.
If you are wanting a wreath to decorate with indoors, this could be it.
This wreath is versatile, easy to make, and comes together in a matter of minutes.
Classic Burlap Wreath Materials:
You will need the following materials to make this classic burlap wreath:
a 12″ or larger wire wreath frame
37 ft of 5-6″ wide burlap garland
accent color burlap for the ribbon
wooden letter or accent and paint
hot glue, string, and floral tape.
Classic Burlap Wreath Directions:
Attach the burlap.
Tie or knot the end of the burlap onto the wire frame.
Make the first burlap loop.
Push and loop the burlap up through the back of the outer wire frame.
Continue making the burlap loops.
While holding the first loop of burlap in place, push up two more loops of the same size to make two more loops.
Go up through the middle ring and then go up through the inner ring.
You should end up with three even sized loops of burlap.
Repeat to continue the burlap wreath.
Scrunch the loops all to one side and then begin again on the outer ring.
Continue to repeat the loops within each divided section of the wire wreath.
When you are done making the loops, it is time to decorate the wreath!
I used chevron burlap ribbon, burlap flowers, and an initial letter.
Once you have completed the wreath, hang it on your door or use it indoors.
Nothing says welcome like a classic burlap wreath!
