Hey Divas, have you heard about Kristin Ess hair care?
I hope you’re hanging in there- this quarantine stuff has got me a little antsy! I may be buying a few too many things, but my favorite purchase of the month is Kristen Ess’ “The One” hair Shampoo and Conditioner.
I have followed Kristen Ess on IG for a while, and finally made the splurge to try some of her products. I really wanted the rose gold temporary tint as well, but that is sold out. Who knew the big hair move of quarantine was to dye your hair pink?
The packaging is adorable- round tops and a blush color- but just beware it is a tad bit pricey for the amount you get. Each bottle is 10 oz for $10 (although you can buy bigger bottles to save more per oz). I only wash my hair every 7-9 days, so I don’t go through shampoo very quickly.

Her shampoo and conditioner, from the Target website, is good for “all hair types, lightly clarifying, high lathering, safe for daily use, and sulfate-free”. When I washed my hair, I found it to be very lathering and felt very clean, and easy to use. The conditioner was also a nice weight, and made my hair very smooth. Upon drying my hair, it was soft, shiny, and well moisturized. Her product also boasts “zip-up” technology, which is supposed to help with split ends (something I desperately needed help with). Plus, my hair smelled awesome- like an expensive salon shampoo.
On the second day, the smell had abated some, but it was still as soft and smooth as before. I am very impressed with this product, and plan to continue to use it.
