A baby shower can be both fun and daunting!
What kind of gift do you take to the baby shower? Is the baby a boy or girl?
Of course, if the parents are registered at a “Target” or “Toys R Us”, the decision can be simple and easy.
Pick something from the registration list!
If it’s on the list, you know it’s something that is wanted or needed.
Baby Apparel Creations Backstory:
Recently, I was invited to a baby shower for twin girls.
Yes, twin girls!
Double the presents and double the fun!
Well, sort of!
I didn’t have the advantage of knowing the parents’ likes or dislikes.
I really didn’t know the soon-to-be-mother at all and had only met the father a few times.
The invitation didn’t specify any registration or helpful information.
I was on my own as far as procuring presents.

I love to embellish and craft!
I definitely wanted something cute and different.
I decided to make a bow, diaper cover, personalized onesie and a dress.
Remember my present was going to be for twin girls!
Hair bows by Design:
I decided to make easy and quick hair bows.
I bought elastic baby headbands in the colors I wanted.
Next, I purchased premade bows on clips.
Now, here comes the easy part.
Clip the bows onto the headband.
No-Sew Decorator Diaper Cover:
I’m really into the chevron print, so I decided to find some chevron diaper covers.
I embellished them with initials of each baby’s first name.
Easy and quick! Personalized gifts make awesome gifts!
Personalized Infant Onesie:
All infants wear onesies. They are convenient for baby and mom.
I found an adorable chevron iron-on transfer to match the chevron diaper cover.
I ironed on the transfer and again added the baby’s first initial to personalize the onesie.
Infant No-Sew Ready Made Dress:
Keeping with my color combinations, I found a cute gray infant dress.
To jazz it up a bit, I bought a cloth flower to attach to the top of the dress.
At the bottom corner, I ironed on the baby’s first initial.
Guess what?!
I had an easy, unique, one-of-a kind personalized dress!
Next time you are faced with the challenge of getting a gift, keep it simple and fun.
Personalize it!!
